Penna barery wa born from an idea of the Penna brothers, a company established in S.M. di Leuca, specialized mainly in the production of leavened products for special occasions.
The project has long standing roots that pick up a tradition of over 50 years of family catering activity. Their passion move among Italy, London and America and gather the best ingredients.
They traveled the world and discovered the passion of pastry in every corner, but in the end they wanted to return to the starting point: the family restaurant business, making the center on the passion of Luca, the chef, for leavened, wanting to combine innovative techniques and simple ingredients to make high quality handmade products. Stefano, has concretized the love that both of them share for the art of dessert, giving life to an activity in the name of craftsmanship and excellence.
Everything grows with sourdough, the main ingredient, shaped by our hands, to create desserts as good as they once were. The cornerstone of their processing, thanks to which they produce our leavened dessert: Panettone.
The enormous dedication to work, passed on by their family, and the continuous excellence in the world of leavened, have been awarded over the years with the winning of numerous awards that have made Penna Bakery products true excellence recognized in Italy and all around the world. The company, in fact, can boast the Panettone recognized by Gambero Rosso among the 100 Top Products 2024, best artisan panettones of Italy.
The Panettone Tradizionale was ranked second among the best artisan panettones of Italy in the 2021 edition of the most important competition at national level "Re Panettone Milano", but also again selected to participate as a jury for the following editions . Penna Bakery products are available in Italy but also in the main European countries. The company’s mission is to make known the craftsmanship of products, that is the basis of their corporate culture with an elegant packaging that is in full line with the very high quality of the product.
