IZZICA is a word from the local dialect of Grottaglie, in Puglia.
It expresses surprise and wonder — the same feeling we aim to recreate every time a jar is opened.
The project was born in the kitchen of chef Antonio Turrisi, inside his restaurant. Izzica preserves are not designed as long-life pantry products, but as ingredients meant to complete a dish, respecting balance, seasonality and raw materials.
Vegetables are selected at their natural harvest time and processed within a few hours, entirely by hand, following family recipes refined over time. No shortcuts, no compromises — only technique, care and precision.
From giardiniera to puntarelle, from artichokes to lampascioni, each product tells the story of an authentic and refined Puglia, deeply rooted in gastronomy.
