Ours is an ambitious project in continuous development, driven by the genuine enthusiasm of the people who live Querciamatta every day.
A magical place, found almost by chance and reinvented with courage and a touch of extravagance.
The hamlet is the heart of the estate, the 4 buildings - each with its own vocation - express its character and personality, olive groves and vineyards are its soul... and everything revolves around them and us.
Located among the green hills of Monsummano Terme, next to the Montecatini Golf Club, we enjoy spectacular views of the entire Valdinievole. From here you fall in love with the sunsets that dye the sky red-orange and define the silhouette of nearby Montevettolini and Monsummano Alto.
Our area is devoted to growing olive trees but has no known terroir for wine. Our greatest challenge is to produce a wine that tells Querciamatta in a heterogeneous land of volcanic soils of Miocene, sandstone and clay origin.
We currently have two labels, red "D" and "Rosé," both pure Sangiovese. But the future is just around the corner and we have already started with the planting of new grape varieties: Cabernet Franc, Foglia Tonda, Trebbiano, Viognier and a new clone of Sangiovese.
"Anno Zero" is our collection of organic extra virgin olive oil exclusively produced from our own olives. Four labels, with singular faces and characters: IGP Toscano BIO, Monocultivar Leccino BIO,100% Italian BIO and 100% Italian.
The entire project is based on respect for the land and sustainability, starting with organic farming, in harmony with the environment around us, as close as possible to tradition but with an innovative spirit.
Restoring the dynamism of this land and reducing the environmental impact are our goals and our greatest satisfaction.
