Company Profile
Founded in the heart of Abruzzo in 1946, Pastificio Artigianale Zaccagni is a benchmark for premium pasta production. Nestled among rolling green hills and the authentic aromas of Italian culinary tradition, our pasta factory was born from the Zaccagni family’s passion for food and their desire to bring pasta that embodies true craftsmanship to tables across Italy and worldwide.
Since our founding, we have carefully selected the finest raw materials to ensure a superior product. We exclusively use premium durum wheat semolina sourced from controlled, sustainable Italian supply chains, paired with pure water from local springs. Every ingredient is chosen to create pasta that is not only nutritious, but also enhances the rich flavors of Italian cuisine.
Our pasta is crafted using traditional bronze dies handed down through generations—a technique that gives the surface a distinctive roughness and makes it easier to digest. This method honors tradition while ensuring that every pasta shape perfectly captures sauces and seasonings for an unmatched gastronomic experience.
Production relies on 100% certified Italian wheat, cold mountain spring water, and a slow, gentle, low-temperature drying process that preserves the raw material’s nutritional and sensory qualities, delivering an authentic, unmistakable taste.
Out of respect for the land that nurtures our ingredients, Pastificio Artigianale Zaccagni is dedicated to sustainability. We continuously invest in advanced technology and production practices that reduce our environmental impact, from renewable energy sources to responsible water management. We also established our farm, "Le Prunaie", where we grow exclusively certified organic wheat for our "Bio" line, alongside extra virgin olive oil and wine.
Our packaging is fully recyclable, marking another step toward a greener future. Furthermore, we actively collaborate with university researchers to develop innovative wheat blends, constantly striving for pasta of the highest excellence.
