Manicardi is an acetaia surrounded by beautiful vineyards, a family-run estate led by Maria Livia, who skilfully oversees the transfers and every stage of the production of the balsamic vinegars.
Maria Livia’s passion is rooted in the legacy passed down to her by her father, a man deeply connected to the history and traditions of the region. It was he who began the first sets of balsamic vinegar barrels, intended as a dowry for his daughters.
Every Manicardi product is crafted with the utmost attention to quality and is designed for discerning consumers seeking a premium balsamic vinegar to pair with strawberries, a tartare, or a simple yet refined crudité of vegetables.
Alongside a wide range of vinegars, the Manicardi Estate also produces wines made from grapes grown on the family’s 35 hectares of vineyards on the hills of Castelvetro. These wines — deeply rooted in the territory and in the Emilian tradition, such as Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOC and Pignoletto DOC — further reflect the passion of Enzo, the founder, who decided to purchase a small estate with the desire to create a wine that would delight his beautiful wife.
From this romantic gesture, a sparkling rosé Lambrusco was born, still today a symbol of the authentic soul of the Manicardi family.
