Founded in 1988 by two partners, the “ Italprosciutti “ s.r.l. was set up in Dovera ( Cr) , a small town in the area of Crema.
In 2014, the company was taken over by the Rossini family whose roots in the world of meat date back to the 1960’s. Grandfather Angelo first and his son Ernesto then, worked as meat brokers with the main Italian and European enterprises, passing on their passion to the next generation, to Angelo and Enrico.
Since then, we wanted to start a new business model based upon a modern approach to the market and on a new change management, always putting into practice our original values.
To this day, the links between farm and breeders are our philosophy.
Creating a direct chain, respecting and enhancing our territory, allows us to have control from the very beginning .
Our company has promoted the choice of local products, in order to have direct control on the row materials and their genuineness. We are far from the frenetic logic of big industry as we are convinced that time is fundamental to obtain more valuable products.
Food safety and process standardization are not secondary to the goodness of our products.
According to our philosophy, in a few years we have come to create the “ Nustràn”, our product of excellence, a cooked ham that, thanks to its high protein content, provides the essential macronutrients for a correct and healthy diet.
