Agr. Az. Della Fara was born in 2012 in San Giovanni Bianco (BG), in Val Brembana at the foot of the Orobie Prealps, with the strong desire to rediscover and re-evaluate the gastronomic tradition of spontaneous mountain herbs, creating products strongly linked to the territory, genuine and, above all, AUTHENTIC!
As? First of all by starting the first cultivation of wild herbs in the Bergamo area, so as to be able to guarantee the traceability of every single product and avoid affecting a natural ecosystem. After that, letting our imagination run wild, recovering ancient gastronomic traditions and putting these spontaneous herbs and fruits "in a jar"!
Condiments for first courses and pickles prepared with extreme care based on some of the most typical wild herbs of the Orobie, such as wild spinach (Parüch), Wild Garlic or Silene, experiments with mountain cultivation, such as the Alpine Artichoke, jams and preserves based on almost forgotten fruits, such as Cornelian, Dog Rose, Elderberry and Rhubarb, up to snacks 100% dehydrated fruit and one of our flagship products: "L'Amarello Della Fara", a totally non-alcoholic bitter based on 12 Alpine herbs.
Inside our laboratory we create all our products, without the use of preservatives and/or colorants, transformed using only the latest generation machinery that allows us to work in vacuum, so that flavors, colors and properties are not lost or altered.
Passion, love for our mountains and a lot of imagination is what distinguishes us and these are the values ​​we try to convey every time one of our jars is opened!
Our products want to be the mirror of a territory, the testimony, revisited in a modern key, of tales and stories of the past, a way to enhance our mountains by giving the possibility of discovering those flavors that were once a source of subsistence for the people who lived in these mountains, trying from time to time to add that pinch of innovation and... atypicality!
