Company Profile
Since 1918, a natural story. Monastic roots, botanical expertise, and the processing of fresh plants are the defining features of Liquorificio Sarandrea, where liqueur-making tradition meets phytotherapy in an artisanal production of sambucas, amari, bitters, and plant extracts. Headquartered in Collepardo, in the heart of Ciociaria, Liquorificio Sarandrea stems from a tradition inspired by Carthusian and Benedictine practices and a deep knowledge of local flora. From this cultural heritage, the company has developed a production model based on the quality of raw materials, the predominant use of fresh plants, and a rigorous phytotherapeutic approach. From the Sambuca inspired by the historic recipe of the Trisulti Charterhouse—officially recognized by the Vatican in 1961—to a wide range of amari, elixirs, bitters, and spirits, Sarandrea has consolidated a strong identity over time, complementing its liqueurs with the production of plant-based dietary supplements. Why visit our stand From father to son, we pass down an authentic and ancient expertise—one rooted in genuine heritage, not recreated after the fact—in processing plants for both liqueurs and natural remedies. This has allowed us to develop a deep understanding of plant chemical profiles, extraction techniques, and raw material quality, especially regarding fresh botanicals. Our role today is precisely this: to serve as a bridge between botanical tradition, scientific rigor, and production creativity, while always maintaining an artisanal scale and uncompromising quality. We will be showcasing our full range of liqueurs and spirits, which represent our tradition as well as the foundational ingredients for a knowledgeable, high-quality, and above all, responsible Mixology.
