Company Profile
Salumi Pretone was born in Gubbio, in the heart of Umbria, from a family passion and the desire to bring back the authentic flavor of traditional Italian cured meats.
We raise free-range black pigs that live outdoors all year round, immersed in nature, feeding on what they find and, when needed, supplemented with organic flour from local mills. Every product is the result of a deep bond with the land, the animals, and time itself.
We produce artisanal cured meats with no preservatives or chemical additives, handcrafted and naturally aged.
We are proud to announce that our company has received the Animal Welfare Award, recognizing our ongoing commitment to an ethical and respectful supply chain.
Respect, honesty, and consistency guide every decision—from the way we raise our animals to the way we share our story. Each product reflects time, effort, and passion, and tells of a genuine Umbria made of forests, silence, and rural tradition.
We speak to those who seek truth in taste: restaurateurs, gourmet shops, and buyers who wish to offer real products with a clean, natural flavor.
Salumi Pretone is more than a brand — it’s a promise of quality, a family story, and a tribute to time, land, and authenticity.
