The farm is set in a little town in the centre of Sicily, caracterized by typical hills.
It was born in 2007 to realize Gianni and Mary’s dream who love land, traditional and natural agriculture, natural and healty food. So, in 2014, he leaves his job and devotes himself to the land and to the promotion of the products of his land.
Gianni wants to protect ancient local varieties and practices natural and slightly mechanized methods in agriculture because he strongly believes in the importance to produce authentic products, without using chemical substances in the field and during the disinfestant process.
He produces legumes, ancient cereals, “siccagno” tomato, aromatic plants, extra-vergin oil and almonds.
The most important legume is the Villalba Lentil, which is tipically green, giant and flattened, because of his organoleptic and nutritional characteristics strongly linked to the land where it is cultivated.
We believe in the importance of sustainability as a form of innovation and of personal and social responsibility, so we try:
to reduce as much as possible the use of plastic materials;
to reuse paper and cardboard to package.
