Welcome to the world of Gelateria Dolcemente, born in 2010 from the idea of making good Pizzo ice cream known outside the borders of our small town of origin.
Pizzo, a charming town on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, is known from a culinary point of view for its centuries-old tradition of artisanal ice cream making. It is precisely the passion for this ancient art that inspired us to create delicious desserts, always trying to balance tradition and innovation.
Our flagship remains the famous Tartufo, a masterpiece of artisanal ice cream with a hazelnut and milk chocolate flavour, with a soft dark chocolate core; all wrapped in a thin veil of cocoa powder, which gives it the appearance of the famous tuber and from which its name derives.
In addition to the classic flavors, we boast the production of other varieties of truffles, such as pistachio, dark chocolate, hazelnut or white chocolate.
But we are not just an ice cream shop, in fact in recent years we have included some classic pastry desserts in our product range.
Furthermore, all our products are gluten-free and some of them are also lactose-free.
In conclusion, our ice cream-pastry shop is not just a place of production of delicious desserts, but an oasis of sweetness that celebrates the culture and passion for this extraordinary art.
We produce our products in our headquarters in Pisa and carry out supplies for the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, reaching with our own vehicles, restaurants, beach establishments and pizzerias mainly in the Tuscan territory, but thanks to the collaboration with various distribution agents we are also present in Lombardy.
