Borgo delle Mele was born from an authentic and noble intuition:
to bring new life to a forgotten place and to apple varieties that had almost disappeared.
We are in Costabeorchia, a tiny hamlet nestled in the Val d’Arzino, an unspoiled valley overlooking the Tagliamento River, in the truest heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
In 2008 Matilde was born, and with her the first apple tree was planted — the beginning of a story taking shape.
Since then, nearly thirty kilometers separate our orchards: a distance chosen, not imposed, essential to cultivate ancient, precious, and unique varieties — apples grown with patience and respect, whose quality is revealed already on the tree.
These are certified varieties, rediscovered and safeguarded thanks to over 20 years of academic research.
This diversity allows us to select the right apples for each juice, following the balance of flavor and the authentic personality of every fruit, without forcing, without compromise.
Because every harvest is unique, and every sip is the result of conscious choices.
