Company Profile
Masseria Calongo is situated in the heart of Valle d’Itria, a beautiful part of Puglia, which is considered one of the most beautiful regions in Italy for its costs, microclimate and biodiversity. In our short production chain farm, we cultivate the raw materials in an organic way and we transform those following the traditional methods handed down by our grandparents.
Our crops vary from the sowing of vegetables, cereals and legumes. Moreover, we look after our amazing centenary olive trees that represent the history of Puglia. We are committed to use agriculture techniques that respect the nature of the territory, from organic fertilisation to following the natural cycle of the plants.
The raw materials are transformed within 24 hours from the harvest and all the phases from the sowing to the packaging are strictly handmade. We use traditional production methods like sun drying and to preserve our products we use natural ingredients like salt, lemon, sugar, vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.
All of this is done with passion to offer you the best vegetable in oil, jams, marmalades, compotes and organic extra virgin olive oil to bring some Puglia on your tables.
