iContadini is a brand of Trentin Società Agricola srl.
Our story is one of daring, perseverance and love for our land.
We began our business about thirty years ago, following in the footsteps of our grandfather, Fiumano. Today, we - siblings Edoardo, Emanuele and Gianna - are the third generation, and we are proudly continuing this agricultural tradition.
Tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, courgettes, artichokes and many more vegetables are grown in Apulia and followed directly by our estate using the integrated production technique.
Every stage, from harvesting to processing and bottling, is carried out by hand by our farmers, using care and love for the fresh product in the area where they are grown, just a short distance from the sea.
We work to protect and safeguard some traditional, native varieties, such as, for example, Racale Capers, Violetto Artichokes, Broccoli Raab and Chicory Catalogna. We use the ancient technique of drying the produce in the sun on mesh frames.
The ingredients accompanying our vegetables are natural and simple: Lemon juice from Calabria, unrefined salt from the Trapani salt mines and apple cider vinegar from Trentino.
We do this while strictly observing times that are dictated by nature and the seasonality of produce. What drives us is our love of the land and its precious gifts, and a passion for intense, authentic flavours of times gone by.
