Food and fashion, a duo that is an ambassador for the excellence of production and Italian creativity, and yet connections between these two worlds are still unexplored. Starlight, a company with more than thirty years’ experience in the world of textiles, and Vandenberg Edizioni – publishers of the four-monthly magazine Cook_inc. Officina internazionale di cucina – are behind an unprecedented project ready to highlight the style potential of food and flavour of fashion.
Fuori di Taste, against the wonderful backdrop of In Fabbrica, Argenteria Pampaloni, will host presentation of the trend book Food in Fashion in the exclusive silverware factory with dishes tailor-made for the event by chefs Annalisa Borella, Massimo Bottura, Karime Lopez, Paolo Lopriore, Lorenzo Stefanini, Stefano Terigi, and Benedetto Rullo, who collaborated on the first edition of the book.
Neither fashion nor menu, this is an opportunity to be inspired, to draw on the numerous ideas that arise from this encounter and identify a new style. A book constructed entirely by hand, with samples of materials and fabric applied directly to the card of its sixty or so ring-bound pages, food-in-fashion is for all those who champion the maximum expression of craftsmanship.
A new project in aesthetics, which in itself is a moral project, a third way of exploring new worlds and new possibilities. Art to be!
