Company Profile
TREBBIO - Organic, Biodynamic Olive Oil
TREBBIO is a family project restoring a UNESCO Heritage Medici Villa and surrounding estate in Mugello/Tuscany, in the cradle of the Florentine Renaissance, reviving the land abandoned after the great frost of 1985.
At the heart of the project is an innovative biodynamic olive grove, combining traditional and modern planting patterns, on a surface of 70 hectares at an average height of 400 m.a.s.l.
Since 2015, we have planted over 30.000 new olive trees from over fifteen Tuscan varieties - predominantly "Leccino", "Leccio del Corno", "Frantoio", "Moraiolo", "Pendolino", and "Maurino" - as well as discovering and reintroducing an indigenous, unique variety that we named "Dianora del Trebbio”.
TREBBIO's organic, biodynamic, olive oil is fully traceable and available in several varieties of mono cultivars and blends, with flavours ranging from mild and fruity to peppery-intense. Produced exclusively with early-harvested olives, the oil is cold-pressed directly after picking, carefully filtered, and conserved into packaging that protects the oil from light and oxidation.
Receiving recognition through awards, we have recently been selected to feature in international catalogues.
We are a new enterprise looking for distributors around the world that share the same uncompromising approach for rigorous traceability, quality, and taste.
