Company Profile
Since 1920, Savini Tartufi has been telling the story of a family of truffle hunters who work with respect for nature, for people and for an ancient craft. A journey defined by courage, character and passion, which started in the heart of Tuscany and has now turned the brand into an international gastronomic excellence.
Gatekeepers of a specialised expertise, Savini Tartufi has been passing on the art of truffle hunting and the uniqueness of the truffle for over four generations. Today, the company combines authenticity, innovation and a contemporary vision, with the aim of offering the very best truffle experience every day.
Thanks to a network of more than 650 truffle hunters across Italy, Savini Tartufi guarantees a constant supply of fresh truffles, always operating with absolute respect for the environment and the land. Because truffles are not just a prized ingredient, but the expression of a deep cultural heritage and a unique know-how.
The Savini Tartufi catalogue offers a wide and constantly evolving range of products designed to support Ho.Re.Ca. professionals — from Chefs to pizza makers, as well as F&B managers and mixologists — in selecting the finest truffle products, while also satisfying the most discerning palates of consumers. From the earliest creations of Luciano Savini to the more contemporary recipes, today the range includes creams, sauces, pasta, seasonings, cheeses, cured meats, and sweet and savoury snacks, all conceived to bring the authentic flavour of the “diamond of the forest” everywhere.
In the truffle-rich area between Pisa and San Miniato, we welcome guests to explore the company’s shop and take part in the Truffle Experience: an authentic immersion in nature, guided by expert truffle hunters and their Lagotto dogs, to discover an art recognised since 2021 as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
And the boundaries of the brand extend even further, with the Casa Savini Tartufi restaurant in Milan, the Luciano Savini’s shop at Mercato Centrale in Florence, Rome, Milan and Bolzano, as well as Ai Banchi at the I Gigli shopping mall.
