Company Profile
Mastri Birrai Umbri is a craft brewery that primarily uses self-produced, short-supply-chain raw materials. Founded in 2010 by the Farchioni family, it is located in Gualdo Cattaneo, in the heart of Umbria. Its mission is to enhance the value of Umbrian excellence, including grains, legumes, and hops. The brewery is integrated with a malt house boasting a nominal production capacity of 960 tons per year, transforming barley and wheat into malt for beer production. The malt house also produces malt for other craft breweries, making it a unique facility, especially in Italy. This approach ensures that the entire production chain is local and entirely Umbrian: from cultivation to transformation and bottling. From the fields to the bottle without interruption, Mastri Birrai Umbri's craft beers speak the language of Umbria.
