Frantoio Franci was born in 1958 in Montenero d’Orcia, when the brothers Franco and Fernando Franci bought the historic Villa Magra olive grove and restored an old barn to make it an oil mill. In 1995, from the collaboration between Fernando and his son Giorgio, a new company philosophy was born based on key concepts such as terroir, interpretation and selection. All aimed at reaching a clear goal: Absolute Quality as Excellence. This meant not accepting compromises and selecting only the best olives, crossing the harvests and receiving their characteristics with constantly improving knowledge and techniques. By diversifying the production into oils of different shades and intensity, Frantoio Franci has made its way around the world: tirthteen labels, each with its own use and destination. Today it is one of the most awarded companies in the Italian olive growing scene with 640 national and international awards won, for four consecutive years including: the Gambero Rosso Star and entry into the Flos Olei Guide Hall Of Fame with 100/100. .
