Placed in the rolling hills in Southern Molise, the Colonna estate covers 160 hectares overlooking the Adriatic coats , 120 meters above sea level. Here Marina Colonna is dedicated to the produce quality, with a great passion to this land. At the heart of the property is the 55-hectare olive grove, over half of which is certified organic and consists of several autochthonous varieties and experimental cultivars
Leccino, Frantoio, Peranzana, Gentile di Larino, Coratina, Ascolana Tenera, Fs-17, Cima di Melfi, Rosciola, Maiatica, Nocellara del Belice, Itrana, Kalamata, Termite di Bitetto and Leccio del Corno are combined in various blends, including Classic, the Molise PDO and the organic line. A vast collection that demonstrates her desire for research and improvement. An oil from a single variety is also produced: the Peranzana monovarietal. Molensis is today the flagship oil, a super blend of limited quantity.
Since 1990 the estate has been producing a range of citrus and infused oils using natural essential oils extracted from the zest of the citrus fruits: starting with Granverde, a time-honoured Colonna family recipe: a delicate blend of fresh olive oil with the natural zest of lemons.
Arancio, Mandarino, Bergamia, Tulsi, Ginger, Aromatico complete the range of the citrus oils, followed by Rose of Mary, Cinnamon, Mustard,., Salvia, RosaOliva, Juniper and Truffle.
Peperoncino All the oils are produced in the recently renovated two-phase and coolying cycle estate’s oil mill ; then stored in vacuum vats before bottling.
