The history of Gennari’s dairy begins in 1953 when Sergio and Maria, taking over a small dairy in Collecchio began this activity producing three wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano a year.
Many years have passed and today the wheels we produce are about onehundred, from 3 different breeds’ milk sorts: Friesian, Brown Cow and Red Cow. We produce four different kind of Parmigiano Reggiano, also exclusively fed with organic foray, and different seasonings, from 13 to 100 months.
Now the reference figures of the company are the sons of Sergio and Maria, Paolo Gennari, master cheesemaker, and Tino Gennari, who follows the farm, as well as the grandchildren Andrea and Laura both present in the management of the dairy and shops.
A unique and high-quality product, guaranteed by a complete supply chain, that starts with the milk of our farms, processed in the modern dairy, completely renovated in 2017, in which we combine tradition and technology.
Our cheese matures in our own warehouses, where we take care of it to the long maturations.
For several years, our Parmigiano Reggiano has been achieving the loyalty of important high-quality restaurants and shops, in Italy and around the world, thanks to an important export work supported by the credit of important certifications such as BRC / IFS / FSMA/Export China.
