The BioOrto is an organization that produces and sells organic extra virgin olive oil, tomato preserves and fresh vegetables and fruit from organic farming; It is localized in Apulia (Italy) at the foot of the Gargano National Park. They are managed more than 400 hectares of land whose products are delivered, processed and packed in a modern factory of 20,000 square meters. The organic extra virgin olive oil follows a strictly controlled process in all its phases to obtain a high quality oil. The olives are picked at the right point of ripeness and processed within 4/6 hours in our farm with a continuous system. The BioOrto oil flavour is fruity, with a very balanced taste, very low acidity, elegant that goes well with a wide range of dishes. BioOrto operates also in tomato preserves, from our field with manual harvesting and processing in a modern warehouse. The main products are: sun dried tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato puree, whole peeled tomato, baby plum tomato in water and salt, artichokes in evoo, basil pesto, broccoli and anchiovies pesto, olives, etc. Following a careful study of varieties, the BioOrto tomato contains twice the amount of Lycopene of other tomatoes on the market. Other products are broccoli, cauliflower, romanesco, celery, fennel, radish, chard, kale, cabbage, pumpkin, asparagus, spinach, grapes, tomatoes, mini water melon.
