Now it is possible to experience it once more in an exclusive evening: “The Amazing Italian Wine Journey. With Filippo Bortolotta” is coming to the Irene Bistro, restaurant of the Hotel Savoy. Nine prestigious labels that represent the finest wines from Friuli to Sicily are to be tasted, accompanied by dishes created by two high-calibre chefs, Fulvio Pierangelini and Giovanni Cosmai. For the welcome aperitif Bellavista Franciacorta Brut La Scala 2013, San Simone Friulano doc 2017, Cecchi Chianti Classico Riserva di Famiglia 2014 and Fabiana, Negramaro Kalema 2016 will be served. On the menu is a warm seafood salad with chickpea puree, Carnaroli rice risotto, clams and turnips paired with a Tasca D'Almerita, Grillo Mozia 2017 and a Masciarelli Villa Gemma 2018; fillet of beef, creamed potato with olive oil and agretti paired with a Petra, Le Ripi Brunello di Montalcino Lupi e Sirene, and a Tedeschi Marne 180 Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG. For dessert, crispy citrus raviolo with spiced hot chocolate and capers paired with a Tedeschi Capitel Fontana Recioto della Valpolicella Classico 2015.
