The history of the organic farm "Torrente Locone", tells about a family experience made of passion and competence since 1992 when the Agronomist Vincenzo Lombardi purchases the first land in one of the most fertile areas of Puglia to test “organic farming methods” that respects the environment. Up to now, between Giuseppe Lombardi(Food Technologist) and his father Vincenzo there are continuous fair comparisons about the innovation and the improvement of the quality of their production. Giuseppe is well-aware of the work and the efforts made by his father to produce Organic olives oil and now a days is spreading it with the knowledge he acquired with his university studies. Torrente Locone uses exclusively "Coratina" olive variety, which has the highest quantity of polyphenols natural antioxidants. The exquisite production processused, gives an intense fruity, bitter after taste and a pleasant final pinch.
