Born and raised in Capracotta, Molise, ours is a story of family and traditions tied to the land. The forest is our home, our natural environment. Tartufi Le Ife was born from a deep knowledge of the territory and from a passion and love for truffles that dates back to the memories of several generations, initially involved in truffle hunting and later in its commerce. We are born truffle hunters and remain first and foremost truffle hunters. We have opened our factory in Capracotta, in the high mountains, where we process our truffles using spring water and air at an altitude of 1421 meters. A portion of the truffles we process come from our controlled truffle farms, while others are purchased directly from the truffle hunters, the 'tartufai', men who day and night go out in search of truffles driven by our same passion. We have known many of them for decades and they are in fact part of our family. We prepare recipes designed to fully enhance the taste of the truffle, we choose the highest quality raw materials without the use of preservatives and dyes. We only choose technologies that guarantee us careful processing to preserve the ingredients we process and the organoleptic and gustatory characteristics of our products, as vacuum steam cooking and innovative freeze-drying processes.
