From the antique art of the distilling monks, comes a gin that is the result of rigorous craftsmanship, encapsulating the fragrances and essences of the Marche region. A territorial gin balanced in its perfumes, clearly distinguished by the three factors Mountain-Hill-Sea that define the Marche region.
Tumultus gin launched in 2024 was born in collaboration with chef Stefano Castricini and his passion for food fermentation. During 2022, we made some trials of fermenting juniper berries to be used in the production of gin.
The first attempts did not yield great results right away, but we knew that it was possible to make a gin using the lacto-fermentation process.
