Schianchi s.r.l. was born in September 2005 in Manzano, a small Friulian town famous for being one of the top, together with San Giovanni al Natisone and Corno di Rosazzo, of so-called "the chair triangle". Contrary to so many other entrepreneurs in the area who invested in the rich and promising furniture and home furnishings industry, the young man Alessandro Schianchi, at the time 26 years old, decided to make a courageous and counter-current, choice, risky but very fascinating. Driven by his great passion for the high gastronomy and with the intention of making it known and appreciated by a wider audience, he founded a small company which he initially took care of of the importation of a few items, chosen for their very high quality, and of their distribution. The initiative was successful. Alessandro Schianchi began to import other gastronomic products as well. Schianchi s.r.l. specialized in the selection of the best peppers and the most exclusive salts from all over the world. The owner also began his own artisan production of extra jams and wine jellies characterised both by the unsurpassed quality of the raw materials used and by classic and creative tastes. Today Schianchi s.r.l., strong of its constant quality, has become an established company at a national level that offers its customers a range of excellent products that have earned them recognition from part of the magazine “Gambero Rosso” (June 2011 issue - Ranking of Fruit Preserves) e the invitation by the Italian government to provide all breakfasts during the summit of G8 in L'Aquila in 2009. Thanks to the tenacity, sacrifice and passionate vision of its founder and thank to the top professionalism of employees, Schianchi products - extra jams, wine jellies, i honeys, fruit and vegetable mustards, sweet and sour vegetables, spicy compotes, salts, peppers, spices, sugars - have now become a synonym and a guarantee of excellence in the field of quality gastronomic craftsmanship. For some years we have been operating on the market specializing in the production and distribution of high profile products. Inside the laboratory in our headquarters we make extra jams, sweet and sour vegetables, sauces and jellies wine all characterized by the unsurpassed quality of the raw materials used and by the tastes classic and creative. We import spices from all over the world paying particular attention to select only the best and most exclusive products. We constantly try to combine a high target with a price appropriate to the market, distinguishing ourselves for attentive service and captivating packaging. We supply various brands and try to give a complete bespoke service in the private-label and we count as our customers some of the most prestigious brands of high gastronomy and fashion such as Prada, Bialetti and Ferragamo. Our professionalism and the quality of the products used has allowed us to achieve important milestones. In July 2009 we were selected by the Italian Government as one of the fifty best Italian manufacturers, to provide breakfasts at the summit of G8 in L'Aquila and in 2011 we received the recommendation from Gambero Rosso as one of the 10 best Italian companies producing jams and marmalades. Besides Gambero Rosso, we are also present within the Espresso, which has named us among the seven most specialized companies in Italy and Corriere della Sera which in March 2019 indicated us as a gastronomic excellence of Northern Italy.
