Maidea is our home, a big family at work. It is a simple idea, like pasta, but involves a great deal of attention and passion.
It is a project that focuses on the authenticity, of both the product and the relationships; in fact, we believe that great achievements are the result of being faithful to yourself and the values you believe in. We do our best every day to improve our work, offer consumers a product that unites, at the same time, the taste of the tradition and sustainability, not only environmental, but of the entire production process.
Our project looks at the future, but at a pace that is respectful of the time needed to make things well and with the responsibility of those who want to enjoy the gifts of nature with gratitude and respect.

Maidea comes from the belief that there is one way only to make pasta: make it well.
The great pasta-making tradition of the Abruzzo region has been our source of inspiration to create a contemporary product, that cares for those who cannot or do not want to include gluten in their diet and, at the same time, want to eat an authentic pasta.
This results in a very short ingredient list, only Italian flours and water from the “Sorgente del Verde”, a production process that delivers a premium pasta free from gluten and a fully recyclable packaging for our most demanding consumers that want to preserve the environment, like us.
Our pasta’s secret.
We have selected the finest quality grains free from gluten to give Maidea pasta a delicate, satisfying taste and to enhance the cooking to produce a pasta that is truly “al dente”.Thanks to our slow drying technique, Maidea gluten free pasta has a great texture and resistance to cooking, a key feature for a high quality pasta.
Maidea’s use of traditional bronze dies produces a rougher surface allowing the pasta to hold more sauce and provide an enhanced eating experience. Moreover, we have decided not to use any additives or emulsifiers and bring the highest level of genuineness, lightness and wellbeing to the tables of each consumer.A family business, happily.
We are a young and proudly family business. In 2015, moved by the passion for good food and the desire to innovate, we founded Maidea, which immediately became a life project.
Our pasta represents us and shows to the world who we are; for this reason, “good” is not only the product, but also the production process and procedures, treating with respect and like family all of our staff.
