Company Profile
The Morello Austera farm, active in the food sector since 2006, stands out for its production of traditional delicacies from the Marche region, including the Amarena di Cantiano, an excellence dating back to the early 1900s. The company's philosophy is based on maximum naturalness and respect for tradition. In the production process, naturalness is an imperative: the fruit trees are cultivated without using chemical fertilisers, and the sour cherries are harvested exclusively by hand. From there, the process continues with the pitting and processing of the raw materials into finished products, all without the addition of colouring agents, preservatives or chemical acidifiers.
The company's mission is clear: to keep alive the ancient methods of preparation and preserve the authenticity of the products intended for the public. Jams, such as Amarena di Cantiano, are a perfect example of this commitment: made from 100 per cent fruit, sugar and lemon peel, they contain no preservatives, colourings or artificial flavourings.
Another gem in Morello Austera's repertoire is the Vino di Visciole, made from an original combination of Sangiovese grapes typical of the Marche region, sour cherries and sugar. After a long process of fermentation and maturation, the wine is bottled and left to age, resulting in a nectar with an extraordinary taste that encapsulates the authenticity and excellence that distinguishes the Morello Austera winery.
