LAFRUTTA is original, artisanal and circular. Our products are our choices. Everything we do every day tells the story of our evolution as food artisans.
In 2013, Massimiliano Biaggioli founded his farm in the Cimini Mountains, in Viterbo, to grow raspberries and became an expert in the artisan processing of all parts of the plant.
Thanks to this know-how, Mammo founded LAFRUTTA in 2020.
Artisanal processing meets the circular vision, so there is no waste, only resources. In fact, “everything good comes from fruit”. Thus, excess syrups from the artisanal processing of candied fruit are used to make natural, gluten-free and vegan sauces and spreads, free of additives but rich in the authentic flavour of fruit and vegetables.
LAFRUTTA sauces are available in 88 different flavours - sweet, sweet and sour or spicy. They can be paired with cold cuts and cheeses and many other meat, fish or vegetable dishes. Their small size makes them ideal for use in the Horeca sector and as food gifts.
LAFRUTTA candied fruits come from artisanal processing, combining the ancient Arabic technique of “giulebbatura” with Italian confectionery tradition and Nostradamus' instructions from 1555, respecting the natural candying times. Alongside classic candied fruit and citrus fruits, “brave candied products" have been created from vegetables, mushrooms, nuts and seeds: innovative products, such as porcini mushrooms, fir cones and candied hazelnuts, created on request for gourmet cuisine and pastry chefs who love to experiment.
In 2026, LAFRUTTA is presenting two new product lines dedicated to the world of chocolate.
To use candied syrups, four natural, allergen-free, gluten-free and vegan chocolate spreads have been created. In addition to being tasty toppings for sweet dishes and desserts, their small size makes them suitable for gifts and for expanding the breakfast offerings in premium hotels.
With its expertise in processing plant-based raw materials, LAFRUTTA has transformed whole cocoa beans into soft, sweet “natural chocolates” through a unique artisanal process that enhances the aromatic profile of each of the four single-origin varieties, all coming from ethical and sustainable supply chains. Packaged in elegant boxes, they are ideal to pair with a premium spirit or specialty coffee or to elevate the experience in top hotels by offering guests a unique and exclusive product that takes them back to the origins of cocoa, the famous “food of the gods”.
