La Sosta Specialty Coffee is a Specialty coffee roasting company founded in 2016 by Simone Guidi, located in the green hills of Impruneta, just 8 km from the center of Florence.
La Sosta specializes in the selection, roasting and promotion of only Specialty grade Arabica coffee from 85 points upwards. For years, we have been dedicated to promoting a new coffee culture, offering products with unique aromas and flavours, distinctive for each coffee, whether they are part of the annual line-up that you can find every time of year, either the seasonal special coffees available only at certain times of the year, or coffees from the Luxury series, rare and unique, with very limited availability.
The Sosta is distinguished by its maniacal focus on three fundamental aspects:
• Selection: By collaborating and visiting the plantations directly, it has direct access to the most valuable micro-lots of each crop, guaranteeing the shortest possible supply chain and the highest quality from the moment of harvesting until the extraction in cup.
• Roasting: The beans are roasted with air, a technique that preserves the natural flavours without burning them, ensuring an authentic and aromatic taste that reflects the natural aromas of coffee.
• Control: Each batch of coffee is analysed in the laboratory to ensure the absence of chemical residues, offering a highly digestible and healthy product.
It also organizes events such as the "Cupping Sessions", in which the doors of the roasting laboratory are open and guided tasting sessions are organized, to educate the consumer and the sector operator to a more conscious culture of coffee

Finally, it offers tailor-made private training courses at any level, to be able to deal with a complex raw material such as coffee.
