In the historical charcuterie factory «I Malafronte», settled in the heart of Emilia Romagna, we produce many traditional and artisanal food excellences, using the best raw materials, even DOP and IGP, to guarantee authentic taste of every single product. The continuous research and innovation allows to have a wide selection of meats and cured meats with a large variety of ingredients and tastes to satisfy the most demanding consumers. The portfolio of cured meats is wide, such as: «I Romagnoli»: unique and typical recipes of peasant art and strongly linked to the culinary tradition of the area, the «Affinati»: specialties enriched with special local ingredients that characterize final product with particular aromas and flavors, such as Sangiovese, Alfalfa or Craft Beer from our brewery.
In addition to respect of the tradition, I Malafronte considers really important and crucial the animal well-being, too. A fundamental value that reaches its higher expression into two lines. The first line is «Salumi di Filiera»: realized with chosen meats coming from a controlled and certified farm, where pigs are raised in open spaces and feed with a special feed enriched with Omega 3. Then we have «Salumi Morabrada»: a perfect and tasty mix of Emilia-Romagna white pork and our Mora Romagnola pork, it’s from the usage of her refined and succulent meat with a strong and unique taste together with the delicate taste of the best white pig that is possible to obtain the uniqueness of these cured meats with an ancient taste, but with a strong note of modernity and innovation.
