Guido Tommasi Editore was founded in Milan in 1999.
The publishing house is specialized in cooking books, due to its love for the people, good food and, in general, books. Words and pictures must be able to feed the mind.
Over time, numerous series have sprung up within Guido Tommasi Editore. From the beautiful Illustrati, for a fresh approach to gastronomy with recipes of great emotional and iconographic impact, to Parole in pentola: stories about food as fascinating as novels and short culinary-themed essays as nimble as reportage. From Cucina regionale that stands on its own, to Il mio corso di cucina: the basic rules for juggling traditional and international dishes.
In 2019 Luxury Books, a brand dedicated to lifestyle and savoir vivre, joined Guido Tommasi Editore. It embraces illustrated books on cooking, interior design, and photography.
The authors are Italian and foreign food-writers, photographers, and stylists from around the world. Attention to detail and iconographic sophistication are its salient features.
