The Green Heart Distillery was born from a vision of an entity capable of gathering, maintaining and respecting the characteristics of an ancient land, its traditions and its knowledge transformed through time into excellence.
The mission: to make the flavours, herbs and evocations of our splendid territory a prime necessity.
The production site was designed and projected in the name of tradition, territoriality and craftsmanship. The choice of the location was an inevitable consequence of our binding values to the environment, sustainability and circularity. Nothing is wasted, everything is recycled and re-used.
The heart of production is in Manciano, a small hamlet with approximately 100 inhabitants, nestled between the hills and mountains of the Comune of Trevi, renowned for its excellent local products such as Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the finest black truffles. The overlooking mountains are rich with native junipers that produce a variety of berries considered to be among the best in the World. The locals tell tales of how in the first decades of the Twentieth Century the juniper berries were picked and then sent to the best producers of English Gin.We at the Green Heart Distillery aim to revive this important historical, social tradition and make it known to all the unaware.
