The history of Torronificio Geraci can be considered emblematic of the broader history of family-run businesses. In 1870 Michele Geraci, an apprentice in a renowned pastry shop in Caltanissetta, decided to set up his own business and start his own business. It is the story of the apprentice who becomes an entrepreneur, through which the most characteristic confectionery traditions of a territory are maintained. This is how Torronificio Geraci was born. After more than 150 years, Torronificio Geraci is managed by the fourth generation of Geraci. The priority is still the very high quality of production, which uses local raw materials and artisanal processing methods not dissimilar from those of the origins of the activity.
