In Finocchito, in Cilento, we grow the dotted fig, a prized fruit symbol of our land. We follow traditional methods to preserve the naturalness of the fruit and the fertility of the soil.
Every spring we take care of the plants with dedication, knowing that only healthy trees produce the best fruit. In summer, when the figs ripen under the warm sun, we pick them by hand one by one, respecting the rhythms of nature. Immediately after harvesting we transform them into our jam, or we leave them to dry in the sun, preserving all their authentic flavour.
We dry the figs on wooden racks in the sun, obtaining a soft texture and an intense flavor without preservatives. Subsequently, we work them by hand to create products such as packed figs, fig capocollo, and more.
For us, the fig is not just a fruit, it is the balance between man and nature, a symbol of passion and tradition. Each product tells our story, made of passion, territory and tradition.
