Master Olive Oil Producers since 1600, the De Carlo Family has passed down through generations the secrets of producing award-winning extra virgin olive oil. With 130 hectares of olive groves in Bitritto, a small town 10 km from Bari nestled in the countryside dominated by Mediterranean scrub, and 30.000 olive trees, the family produces several labels of extra virgin olive oil. The scents and flavors of Puglia can be found in our products, which have always been synonymous with excellence and quality. The olives, harvested exclusively from our own estates, are milled within a few hours at our family-owned oil mill. The De Carlo company operates with zero environmental impact: we irrigate our olive groves using the drip irrigation system, which allows us to produce high-quality oil while minimizing water usage. We produce also a line of flavoured oils for condiments, made by using fresh raw materials. But De Carlo is not only about outstanding olive oil production: the De Carlo product line also includes a wide variety of vegetable preserves, stored in our own extra virgin olive oil, as well as spreads, pasta sauces, and olives in brine and in e.v.o.oil. The vegetables are grown directly in our fields, respecting the natural seasonality of each type of vegetable, and are processed within a few hours of harvesting in our on-site workshop. All vegetables are preserved in our precious extra virgin olive oil, ensuring a 100% Apulian product. Our products are certified BRC, IFS, PDO and ORGANIC. De Carlo strongly supports a short supply chain business model, pursuing goals such as quality and healthy, wholesome food, with deep respect for the land.
