Company Profile
Caviar Giaveri is one of the most important producers of sustainable Italian caviar, one of the top businesses in the world. In the pay off “Un piacere che si distingue” (“A distinguished pleasure”), you can find the mission and the essence of the brand, and, in its complexity, the secret of it resides in simply tending to the sturgeon’s wellbeing which will then determine the quality of the caviar.
The sturgeon breeding facility resides in the fisheries of Caviar Giaveri in San Bartolomeo di Breda, which is in the province of Treviso, just a few kilometers away from Venezia, and it holds over 15 hectars of protected and controlled breeding farms where the balance of the species is respected. Modern aquaculture technologies allow for sustainability of the system, and for the safeguarding of the marvelous animal that is the sturgeon, of which the specimens can live by maintaining virtually the same lifestyle as they would in the wild. Caviar Giaveri breeds ten different species, which allows to choose from a rich variety of types of eco-sustainable caviar, and is also currently the most varied sturgeon park in the world: Acipenser gueldenstaedtii (Russian Sturgeon), Acipenser baerii (Siberian Sturgeon), Acipenser stellatus (Starry Sturgeon), Acipenser transmontanus (White Sturgeon), Acipenser persicus (Persian Sturgeon), Acipenser ruthenus (Sterlet Sturgeon), Acipenser ruthenus albino (Albino Sterlet Sturgeon), Huso huso x Acipenser baerii (Beluga x Siberian), Huso huso x Acipenser naccarii (Beluga x Adriatic), Huso huso (Beluga).
