Company Profile
The family business Campisi was founded in 1854 in Marzamemi (SR), in a small village steeped in traditions associated with fish processing. Linked to the sea for over a century , the Campisi Company produces and processes a wide range of fish products: Bluefin Tuna, Swordfish, Amberjack , the precious bottarga (roe), and manages the transformation of the catch into pestos and pates . The use of ancient techniques dating back to the Arab period, refined over time in the small village of Marzamemi, drying and aging of tuna products in a suitable climate, made the Campisi family worthy of being considered one of the last connoisseurs of almost extinct traditions.
Salvatore Campisi affirms: "Our goal is to research products that made the history of our land.
Genuineness, freshness of the raw material and strict controls ensure maximum quality ". This aspect recalls one of the core values of the Campisi Company, or its code of ethics. Aware of living off the land and sea, the company respects the territory providing the processing of products, from the origin guaranteed and controlled, such as P.G.I. Pachino Tomatoes or the use of fish caught exclusively by hook and never slaughter, the sign of a healthy relationship between man and nature.
