Luisa Matarese is the mind and the heart of Alma De Lux, looking for the best raw materials with care, attention and passion in order to transform them and give life to the excellent artisanal liqueurs that represent her style and way of thinking.
Luisa Matarese's passion was born when she was a child, as she gathered with her family in the kitchen, symbol of family warmth and fulcrum of daily life, only for them to cook together, tell stories and pass on the knowledge and the flavors of the Neapolitan tradition. She approached the world of infusions several years ago, a challenge, an intuition born almost as a game, studying raw materials and meticulously looking for the best combinations and the best working processes.
Alma De Lux has won several international awards and recognitions over time, including the prestigious Platinum for "Cigarro" and "Pomodoro del Piennolo," as well as several Golds for "Zenzibar," "Chinalime," "Midnight," "Diablo," "Lemon-scented Turmeric" and "Orange-scented Saffron" at The WineHunter Awards.
In the small workshop in San Giorgio a Cremano, Naples, Luisa experiments new recipes, balances and raw materials, with passion and curiosity, looking for the new and the unusual, aiming for excellence without compromise.
