Our farm is located in Matera, a city recognized by UNESCO in its “World Heritage List”, and precisely within the “Park of the Rupestrian Churches”. From the history of our beautiful territory
and our love for nature, in 1998 we decided to realize the company laboratory with a purpose: to pass on to the new generations the flavors and traditions of the Lucania’s land.
WE CULTIVATE LOVE
We grow old local cultivars in order not to lose our roots. We select only the most suitable vegetables and fruits for processing, harvesting them only at the right degree of ripeness. We use cultivation techniques with low environmental impact and we preserve our freshly harvested vegetables and fruits in the company laboratory, which is only a few meters from the fields.
WE PRESERVE THE FLAVORS
We preserve our vegetables and fruits with love, using traditional and typical methods of our territory. We select for each vegetable or fruit the best method, choosing among drying, salt or pickling in oil and using natural preservatives such as vinegar, salt or lemon juice. We only use Extra Virgin Olive Oil, because it is healthy and genuine, digestible, rich in antioxidant properties. For our containers we use exclusively glass because it keeps its content uncontaminated and is environmentally friendly, being usable and 100% recyclable.
