We arrived in Pachino as tourists in Pachino in 2000 and for the first time we experienced the true taste of tomatoes.
13 years later we decided to change our life and open a tomato processing company in Pachino.
Our philosophy is to offer quality products which are innovative, respectful of the tradition and not only.
Quality. The produce we transform are rigorously italian and the tomatoes are exclusively cultivated in Pachino, which is the southest at a lower latitude than Tunis, and most sunny municipality of Italy. Another peculiarity is that it is located between two seas, the Ionian and
Mediterranean, this means that its continuosly windswept by brackish winds, the ground is sandy slightly, underlying brackish acquifers make the produce sweet, sapid and lightly acidic..
Tradition. Our products don't contain any preservatives, any food dyes, any thickeners and any added salt. Our peeled tomatoes, candied fruits and vegetables and even the citrus fruits used to
make the powder are hand peeled as it used to be.
Innovation. Because we didn't want the same candied fruits and the traditional candying, because the powders must be colorful, tasty and fragrant. Because the mustards can be unlike any
other. Because we put the tomatoes in the water we extract by them to preserve them and their taste, sweetness, harmony and natural sapidity with two products in the same package.
We started making tomatoes puree of ciliegino, datterino and marinda tomatoes and after few years we made the tomato water, started to preserve tomatoes in it, the onion Giarratana's water, then the hand peeled tomatoes, we created the stardust line with powders tomato, orange and lemon zeste, capers, wild fennel and beets . Then the candied tomatoes, bell peppers, capers and its fruits and mustards. And for us we just started.
